Shoppers rejoice! One of the state’s best money-saving weekends is coming up and you do not want to miss it. South Carolina’s annual Tax Free Weekend starts on August 3rd and ends August 5th. This holiday started in the spirit of back-to-school shopping and offers shoppers the opportunity to get a variety of school supplies, clothing, shoes, dorm and home goods and more, exempt of state and local taxes. So whether you’re a parent shopping for your kids, a college student or just your average shopaholic (like myself), Tax Free Weekend is the perfect time to shop guilt-free.
